Imagine that you are standing on the shore, surrounded by the deep green of our mountains. The sound of the water hitting the rocks filled the air. Feel that tingling unmistakable in the stomach: a mixture of nerves and pure anticipation. You adjust the helmet, fasten your vest and, when you cross eyes with your team, you know the routine was very far from here.

You put a foot on the raft and feel the freshness of the water. The guide gives the order and, suddenly, you are floating. The first few minutes are to be synchronized. “Forward!”, shouts the guide, and all sink to the oars at the same time. At first it feels a bit awkward, but quickly begin to move as one. Your mind clears up completely; here there are no emails or notifications, only the water and you.

“Oh, strong, non-stop rowing!”, order the guide. Your muscles burn a little, the water flies everywhere, and fighting alongside your team to stay the course. The raft is shaken with violence, but you paddle with a strength they never knew they had.
