Day 1

Your adventure begins at 7:00 AM, when our private transportation picks you up in Medellín. As we leave the city noise behind, the landscape transforms into green mountains that announce your arrival in Guatape.

The Mystery Underground Our first stop is not for those looking for the ordinary. We will enter the indigenous caverns, a sacred place that holds secrets of centuries. Here, you choose your own challenge: will you enter by walking or defy the gravity with a 30 meters rappel descent? Inside, you will tour four chambers filled with echo and history, feeling the energy of the rituals that were once celebrated in this stone refuge.

A Burst of Color and Breeze After a typical lunch, the afternoon is painted in colors. Ride a Moto Chiva (local colorful motorcycle taxi). to explore Colombia's most Instagrammable streets. You will feel the breeze on your face as we cross the 'Calle del Recuerdo' (Street of Remembrance) and the Malecón, discovering the stories behind each zócalo.

To end the day, the sun begins to set and we board the large pontoon boat. With background music and the gentle movement of the reservoir, we will navigate between islands and mansions, learning the history of a town that was flooded to make way for this body of water. The night awaits you in a 3 or 4-star hotel so you can rest as you deserve.

Day 2

After a breakfast mountaineer, we prepare for the main course: The Canyon of the River Guatape.

This is not just any walk. It's 5 kilometers of total immersion in the native forest. You will walk under the shade of the trees while the grey titi monkeys jump over your head. The sound of the water will guide you to discover two stunning waterfalls and four natural pools of crystal-clear water. Submerging yourself in these pools after the hike is not only refreshing, it is a total purification before starting the return to Medellín at 4:00 PM.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

  1. Have a good state of health.
  2. To have good physical conditions. 
  3. Frequent use of sunscreen.
  4. Cap and comfortable clothes for walking.
  5. Swim suit or clothes to swim.
  6. Bring a change of clothes for after the activities
  7. Good shoes, preferably that cover the ankles, and is easy to tie.

  3.  To have good physical condition
  4. Have an affinity and previous experience in water or adventure activities
  5. Do not submit recent injuries, surgeries, heart problems, respiratory or mobility
  6. Not to be under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medications that affect the physical response.

Guided tour by one of the cannons, the more beautiful of the region, the canyon of the river guatape. A hike through native forests, while watching the monkeys play and the birds fly among the trees, full of natural pools where you can swim and cool off. A true connection with nature.

This place was inhabited by dozens of indigenous people who took shelter from their enemies and the inclemency of the weather. This is a sacred place for the indigenous people, a place where they performed hundreds of rituals, dances, sacrifices, and many of their secrets remained guarded in this location. 

You can get to the caves by walking or a descent by rappel from more than 30 metres height.
