Duration: It's a full-day schedule (provisions and limits are calculated per day by default, but it would be best to establish an hourly limit, like 6 or 8 hours).

  • Equipment damage: If the client loses a lure, tangles the line beyond repair, or breaks a rod, they must assume the cost.

Key rules for fishing in Guatapé:

  • Bringing hard liquor is prohibited (maximum 6 beers per day).
  • Swimming in the reservoir is prohibited. 

What to bring?: 

  • Polarized sunglasses: A must have to cut surface glare and spot underwater strikes.
  • Comfortable and long sleeved clothing: Ideally, it should be quick-drying material (like fishing shirts) to protect yourself from the sun and humidity.
  • Cap or hat: Fundamental for the sun during so many hours on the boat.
  • Sunscreen: Abundant, because the sun's reflection on the reservoir water burns a lot.
